3rd Engineering Capstone Expo (ECE-2023)

Organized by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) – Pakistan Development Committee (PPDC).

The 3rd Engineering Capstone Expo (ECE-2023) was a series of competitions, among the engineering students of public and private sector universities across Pakistan to showcase their research skills, technologies, and Final Year Design Projects (FYDPs) focusing on industrial solutions and societal problems. More than 5000 thousand students participated in these competitions organized at each of the four provincial capitals and federal capital. The winners of the competitions were recognized with rewards and certificates both from the PEC as well as the industry.

ECE-2023 took place at Pak-China Friendship Center on January 12th, 2023, Thursday at 10:00 A.M – 4:00 P.M.

Engr. Dr. Sohaib Manzoor, Deputy Director QEC/Lecturer Department of Electrical Engineering proudly presented Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST) as his project “Towards Reducing Handoff Times in Next Generation Wireless Networks” was shorlisted by PEC.

PEC in collaboration with Islamabad Chamber of Commerce congratulated and promiced Engr. Dr. Sohaib Manzoor to commercialize the project and to provide paid internship to Muhammad Akbar Kiyani (Project Member) student of 7th Semester at Electrical Department MUST.

The Ceremony concluded by certificate distribution to respective supervisors.
