Introduction
The educational objectives of the Department of Mirpur Institute of Technology (MIT) are to develop professional skills in the students that prepare them for immediate employment in technology fields. The department aims to develop abilities in the students for the application of the scientific basics and fundamental knowledge of Engineering Technology
The students are provided with an educational foundation that prepares them for leadership roles along diverse carrier paths in large companies. There is hardly any sphere of modern life that is not affected one way or the other, by some aspect of technology.
MIT-MUST is working under Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Currently MIT-MUST is running Four degree awarding programs: B.Sc. Electrical Engineering Technology, B.Sc. Civil Engineering Technology, B.Sc. Architecture Engineering Technology and MS Electrical Technology. Our B.Sc. Engineering Technology Programs is accredited by National Technology Council (NTC) Pakistan. The department has well equipped laboratories for undergraduate classes and the equipment is upgraded as the need arises. Lecture theatres, classrooms, laboratories, faculty offices etc. are all housed in the same Block.
