Follow-Up Visit of National Institute of Hydropower Training Mangla WAPDA by Team ORIC-MUST

Team ORIC – MUST visit the National Institute of Hydropower Training Mangla WAPDA at Mangla on Thursday, September 29, 2022. The visit was part of the implementation process of the MoU signed between both institutes last year. The MUST Faculty will help the institute to function state of the art Hydropower labs meanwhile MUST faculty members, as well as students from the department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering, will get the benefit of using these labs for training and research in the future.

Engr. Dr. Ghulam Qadar, Manager Innovation and Commercialisation, Engr. Irfan Jamshed, Manager Research Management and Engr. Imdad Hussain, Lecturer, Mechanical Engineering Department was part of the team. It was decided during the visit that as part of the agreement, MUST will provide consultancy services to the Institute as well as Mangla Powerhouse, and an expert team of MUST will soon visit them in this regard.
