Brigadier Younis Javed Visits Site of MUST Bhimber Campus, Covering an Area of 1564 Kanals

Brig.(R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younis Javed SI(M) Vice Chancellor, Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mirpur had a rigorous & comprehensive visit of Bhimber new Camps site on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 13:00 hrs.

Brigadier Younis Javed, Vice Chancellor MUST was accompanied by senior administrative officials of Mirpur University which includes, Prof. Dr. Khazir Ul Haq Registrar MUST, Prof. Dr. Muhammad khalique, Treasurer MUST, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ishtiq, Director AS&RB, Dr. Muhammad Ajaib, Coordinator Bhimber Campus, Dr. Abid Hussain, Coordinator, Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mr. Duad Ali Siddique, SPS to Vice Chancellor, Mr. Muhammad Naveed, Deputy Registrar and Dr. Waqas Faryad, DEO Registrar Office.

To acquaint honourable Vice Chancellor MUST with the allocated land & it’s physical features spreading on 1564 kanals , he was thoroughly briefed with help of site map and area visit by Mr. Shouket Mehmood, Director Estate Management, Mr. Muhammad Ayub, Admin Officer and Mr. Zahid Mehmood, Surveyor Department of Civil Engineering.

Brigadier Younis Javed stayed on site for around an hour, walked around hill side to inspect topographical features & terrain configuration which varies from high to lowland areas. Speaking after a briefing over the site, the Vice Chancellor said this huge land of 1564 Kanals carries immense importance for the growth, expansion & future of the Mirpur University and especially for the people of adjoining areas who would be benefited with quality of education at their door step, which will eventually lead to the economic prosperity of the the University & region. He stressed for the early execution of devised plan regarding establishment & development of land.

Promoted faculty members of MUST Bhimber Campus, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ishtiaq, Director ASRB, Dr. Saim Hashim, Coordinator Department of Economics, Dr. Abid Hussain, Coordinator Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Dr. Nafeesa Zahid, Associate Profess, Department of Botany, Dr. Neelam Rasheed, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany and Dr. Sehrish Shafi, Coordinator Department of English invited honourable Vice Chancellor & senior administrative officers to a sumptuous feast arranged at acme of Jandi Chontra, tourist attractions.

All faculty members of Bhimber Campus thanked Brigadier Younis Javed, VC MUST & his entire team for conducting the Selection Board with transparency. At the end Vice Chancellor thanked prompted faculty on arranging a lavish lunch & also congratulated all the promoted faculty members and wished them good luck for their future endeavors.
