MUST Fetched 2nd Position in HEC Weightlifting Talent Hunt Championship 2022

Higher Education Commission (HEC) under Prime Minister’s Youth Programme organised Weightlifting Talent Hunt Championship 2022 in COMSATS University Islamabad from 04 – 10 June 2022.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shamsul Qamar COMSATS University Islamabad was Chief Guest of the closing day ceremony. Treasurer COMSATS, Controller of Examinations COMSATS, Officials of the University & Directors of Sports of participating Universities were part of the event.

Following Students of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur & Affiliated Colleges & few other individuals got distinction at National level under MUST umbrella :-

1 Chaudhary Zain Aman, MUST, Mirpur

In 109 Weight, received Gold Medal & Cash Prize of Rs 10,000.

2 Raja Ismail, MUST, Mirpur

81 Weight received Silver Medal & Cash Prize of Rs 5000.

3 Muhammad Haris, MUST, Mirpur

89 Weight received Silver Medal & Cash Prize of Rs 5000.

4 Muhammad Tayyab MUST, Mirpur

96 Weight received Bronze Medal & Cash Prize of Rs 3000.

5 Mr. Umar (Mirpur)

55 Weight fetched Silver Medal & Cash Prize of Rs 5000.

6 Mr. M. Talha Hussain (Mirpur)

61 Weight received Gold Medal & Cash Prize of Rs 10, 000.

7 Mr. M. Danyal (Mirpur)

67 Weight received Silver Medal & Cash Prize of Rs 5000

8 Mr. Hassan Mahboob BS Physical Education, PGC Mirpur
