Mirpur University Holds Pegham -e- Pakistan (PeP) National Conference
Institute of Islamic Studies (IIS) of Mirpur University of Science and technology (MUST), Mirpur hosted Paigham-i-Pakistan, one day National Conference on Peace building, Perception Management & Reconstruction of Society in the Hall of Mechanical Engineering, City Campus on Wednesday, June 01, 2022 at 10:00 hrs.
Dr. Sajid Hussain, Director Institute of Islamic Studies (IIS) hosted & coordinated the PeP Conference. Prof Nisar Hamdani, Pro VC AJK University was key note speaker who delivered on “Ethical Values of Pakistan”.
Details of guest speakers are as follows :
1. Dr Aftab Ahmad HoD, Islamic Research Institute Islamabad.
2. Pir Ali Raza Bukhari, Ex-MLA
3. Dr Rizwan Prof of Criminal Psychology, University of Haripur.
4. Mr Kashif Irshad Director, KP Centre of Excellence for CVE Struggle for Kashmir
5. Mr Nazir Hussain Former Ambassador/ Ad. Secretary, MoFA.
6. Mr Zahid Hussain.
Speakers of the Seminar hav said Pagham – e – Pakistan (PeP) is a National Narrative & a light house which was established under the spirit of Constitution of Pakistan. It is a platform which advocate peace, reconciliation, tolerance, sense of accommodation and aims to unify the Nation & Nation building which will ultimately lead to fortification of Pakistan against the hidden agendas of our enemies.
Speakers paid homage to Pakistan Armed Forces & Security Agencies who have laid down their lives for this great Nation. They said Pakistan Military is lifeline of Pakistan therefore, we must continue our moral support, recognise their supreme sacrifices & work for it’s very projection more importantly make it part of Ideology to defend your Armed Forces on all the forums.
Guests Speakers further said Symposiums, Seminar, workshops & conferences under the flag of PeP are designed to eradicate extremism, hatred, violence & mindsets which promote militancy in our beloved motherland.
