Huzaifa International Arranged an Awareness Seminar

Huzaifa International arranged an awareness seminar titled as “Prevention of Livestock Diseases with Special Focus on Lumpy Skin Disease, Foot and Mouth Disease and PPR” in PC Hotel Muzaffarabad.

Dr. Abid Hussain, Associate Professor and Coordinator of FVAS, MUST was honoured with a shield by Secretary Livestock Department Govt of AJK for his efforts to increase and support awareness about LSD. Recognizing his efforts, Huzaifa international announced upgrading District Veterinary Hospital Bhimber as Teaching Hospital to enrich FVAS students with skills of X ray and ultrasound and to serve the farmers.

Minister Livestock, Agriculture and Irrigation Sardar Mir Akbar Khan participated as Chief Guest, Secretary Livestock Javed Ayub participated as Guest of Honour.

Dr. Nazeer Hussain Kalhoro DG Livestock Sindh participated as Guest Speaker and he shared his detailed experience about how he controlled LSD in Sindh. Dr. Ijaz Khan DG Livestock also shared his experience about controlling LSD outbreak. Veterinary officers, Additional directors, Divisional Directors, farmers were also invited.
